The introduction of QR codes, a feature I had advocated for, aimed to offer clients dynamic special offers, enhancing tracking capabilities across our advertising efforts. However, the concept's execution faced challenges, notably from our sales team, leading to feedback on the campaign's perceived inefficiency—a responsibility that ultimately fell to me.


Addressing these issues required a shift towards more direct and ongoing engagement with our clients, moving away from assumptions to a model where feedback informed our actions. This approach, while not strictly Agile, was inspired by Agile's emphasis on closing the feedback loop early and frequently. The endeavor highlighted the importance of open communication and adaptability, yet it also underscored my own shortcomings in persuading the organization to fully embrace these principles.

Through continuous feedback and stakeholder engagement, we did manage to enhance partner value, achieve better ROI, and improve stakeholder satisfaction. This case study ultimately reaffirms that for a startup or a business undergoing transformation, success hinges on understanding and applying Agile principles from the outset. It underscores the value of granting autonomy to operational teams and the transformative power of collaboration and continuous feedback in steering a business towards its objectives.
